Abano Terme
is considered the most important thermal resort in Italy and among
the first in Europe.
The ritual of dipping
oneself into the thermal waters awakens prenatal memories and
pleasures: such waters come from the Piccole Dolomiti mountains,
sink three thousand metres deep into the ground and resurface at a
temperature of 85-87 °C.
They are hot, mineralised,
therapeutic and collected in thermal pools. Here their curative and
beneficial actions combine with those of volcanic mud. Both hot and
cool, curative and cosmetic, mud represents, together with water,
the basic resource for a large number of health treatments and one's
own psychophysical well-being – a true regeneration of the whole
person. Feeling at ease with oneself makes one feel at ease with the
world. Surrounded by a world of nature, sport, cultural events and
interests, the Colli Euganei offer paths ideal for a walk or a
bicycle ride through wide green spaces.
Even cooking is an
exaltation of delight here: food is considered as a ritual, as a
gastronomy of the mind for the nourishing of body and soul.

Classes are held by Maestros
at Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels.
The full-board accommodation
offered by the hotel is particularly refined and accurate. After
10.00 p.m. the guided ‘Practical lesson’ and from 11.00 p.m. to 2.00
a.m. the ‘Noche in Milonga’ in the lovely Hotel disco at our
disposal, 'tanguera' for this occasion.
All the facility services
are available, discounts may be applied on some thermal/beauty
treatments and
access to
the Hotel's thermal pools is free!
OUR
ACCOMMODATION
In the
Hotel RITZ (5 stars).
Hospitality is an art which cannot be improvised, feeling well means
feeling at home even when not at home. Here we have the atmosphere
of a 5 star hotel, with the addition of the friendliness and comfort
anyone can breathe on a full holiday.
The global approach to
well-being, the generosity in giving and the variety of things
offered make our Guest feel as "the master of the world".
A precious collection of
dishes of the XIX century is displayed on the walls of the dining
room. This is an invitation, a sort of clue, the history of a
vocation for the art of good cuisine. The staff will serve with
white gloves, aware of the importance of convivial moments, in an
elegant, lively, warm and comfortable atmosphere. And Mrs. Emma, the
lady of the house, is the tireless soul, the guide and connection
between the restaurant, the rich wine cellar, and the secrets of a
kitchen that serves fresh vegetables in season, makes home-made egg
pasta and desserts, is inclined to prepare fish and first course
dishes, cooks only "DOC" meat, and believes in the rediscovery of
regional cuisine and the exaltation of Italian flavours and aromas,
proposing now and then the best international recipes. The Abano
Ritz Thermal SPA, a residence hotel, believes in the culture of
well-being combined with a healthy diet (diet menus and “green
buffets” of cooked and raw vegetables served with oil and vinegar
assortment are proposed daily), which is at the same time a pleasure
for the senses and the expression of a peculiar and varied cuisine
that unites innovation and tradition.
