Ischia is the main island of the Gulf of Naples, in the Tirreno sea. Along with the islands of Procida and Vivara, it constitutes the Flegreo Archipelago. 18 miles stretch between Ischia and Naples, and 10,5 between Ischia and Pozzuoli. The island is located between 40,05 degrees of North latitude and 11,5 of East longitude from the Paris Meridian, i.e. between 40,44 of North latitude and 13,56',30’’ of East longitude from the Greenwich Meridian. The island is signalled by several light-houses: the most important is Punta Imperatore, on the coast of Forio. The island has three main harbours: Ischia Porto, Casamicciola and Forio, and two smaller areas where private boats can shelter, in Lacco Ameno and Sant’Angelo. The table below shows the distances between Ischia and the major towns on the mainland, many of which are resorts linked to the island by special boat routes, mainly during summertime.

This indented and varied coastline stretches over 20,6 miles, with cliffs, coves, sandy and rocky beaches, promontories. In some areas the thermal waters gush out directly into the sea. Its sea life includes the typical mediterranean species. Fishing, diving and sailing are much practised along the coast.

There are many mineral thermal springs on the island of Ischia, and, consequently, as many a type of water, which offer several properties with different therapeutic applications. There are 29 thermal basins in all, i.e. groups of homogeneus springs, 100 single water sources and 69 fumaroles.

Arrivals and departures are scheduled on SUNDAY. All-inclusive participation fee covers half-board accommodation (bed, breakfast and evening meal, plus drinks), sessions of Argentine Tango with teachers and dancers :

for a total amount of 50 hours of lesson throughout the week, to be divided into levels and types as follows:

beginners , intermediate , advanced, men and women's technique.

as well as the ‘’noche Milonguera’’ every night after 10.30 p.m. , a Special "Ischia" evening with folklore entertainment and typical food and, to conclude, the ‘’Tango Entertainment’’ evening on Saturday night.

Also available: access to all Hotel facilities, such as the lovely indoor and outdoor thermal pools (included in the package) and Well-being Centre (reservation and prices available on site)!

In addition, it is possible to choose a full board accommodation with a Euro 14 supplement applied per day.
