The
Lake Maggiore
is one of the biggest lakes of the peninsula.
Its banks stretch along more than 150 Km in total, starting from
Canton Ticino in Switzerland up to Sesto Calende (Va), thus washing
two regions: Piedmont and Lombardy, and three provinces: Novara,
Varese, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
Set in the Prealps, the volcano-originated Lake Maggiore is framed
by the soft hills of the lower area of Novara and the highest
summits, some of which permanently covered by snow, in the high area
of the Verbano.
Thanks to its mild climate, it was discovered as an ideal resort by
noble families who had magnificent villas built along its banks,
often adding to their beauty wonderful gardens and parks.
Many famous people, artists and writers sojourned here, such as
Hemingway, Goethe, Fogazzaro, Rosmini, Manzoni, Flaubert, Mann,
Bernard Shaw, Wagner, Toscanini, Verga and Stendhal, who wrote here
a large part of his work on his stay in Italy and some pages of "The
Charterhouse of Parma".

INFORMATION
Arrivals are scheduled
on Friday and departures on Monday.
Participation fee includes half-board accommodation (bed, breakfast,
evening meal, plus drinks), Milonga evenings and Argentine Tango
courses with teachers and dancers:

Lessons will be held by the
Maestros at Beginners (first steps also), Intermediate and Advanced
levels. Some "Women's and Men's Technique" classes will be arranged
as well.
Every night after 10.30 p.m.
until 2.00 a.m. the ’’noche Milonguera’’ in the charming Hotel hall
facing the lake.
Music for the dancing events
will be arranged by: Sandro051 and Felix Picherna, famous and
esteemed ‘’Musicalizadores’’.
During the weekend, a
special night with surprises and on December 7th the Gala
evening with typical dinner and the Maestros' performances will take
place.
