Leaving behind the famous city of Alghero, you reach the mountain Doglia; at her feet you may find the beautiful bay of Porto Conte between Punta Del Giglio and Capo Caccia, discovered by the Romans and called “Portus Nympharum” (Porto delle Ninfe – The bay of the Nymphs) by Roman geographer Tolomeo, for the beauty of its clear blue and green waters.
Proceeding towards the famous tower Torre Normanna of Porto Conte you meet the 5-star Hotel ‘El Faro’.
Built in the 1950’s, the hotel has regained its splendour after a renovation ended in May 2002, thanks to which the hotel has won the five star status.
Going through the arches of the entrance, the spectacular view of Capo Caccia can hardly be imagined, and similarly the original size of this place, untouched by mass tourism, surrounded by a natural reserve.
The feelings that the hotel El Faro aims to transmit to its guests is absolute tranquillity and relax, the pureness of the surrounding environment with its energy and its natural essence, only two hours away from the main European cities.
In its unique location, the hotel enjoys a micro-climate, and in some days you will find that, whereas around you there are mist and rain, on the peninsula of Porto Conte you will find fresh and clear weather.
 The guided boat, horse and tracking excursions in the area are breathtaking, and you may discover the park of Punta del Giglio on the mountain Monte Rudedu, the caves of Neptun or get to the natural reserve of Arca di Noè, on the mountain Monte Timidone, to wait for the wonderful sunset over the sea.
 Diving enthusiasts can enjoy excursions in caves accompanied by expert guides and maybe admire the promenade of a lobster.
 The conditions for windsurfing and other sailing sports are favourable, especially during the months of June, July and September.
The location offers also a peculiar vegetation with its looks and precious plants.

Arrivals and departures are scheduled on SATURDAY.
Participation fee includes half-board accommodation (bed, breakfast, evening meal, plus drinks), Milonga evenings and Argentine Tango courses with teachers and dancers:

 (All levels available. Detailed lessons programme will be sent later on by email)

Lessons will be held by the Teachers at Beginners (first steps also), Intermediate (2 levels) and Advanced levels. Some special "Technique in couples", "Women's and Men's Technique" classes will be arranged as well.

Every night after 10.30 p.m. until 2.00 a.m. the ’’noche in Milonga’’ in the charming and bright Hotel hall facing the sea.

Music for all the dancing events will be arranged by famous ‘’Musicalizadores’’.

On August 29th the Gala evening will take place, with typical dinner and the Maestros' performances. In the course of the week some special evenings will be held with several surprises.

Hotel El Faro ***** The Hotel faces the sea and is located in the middle of a natural Bay, surrounded by a natural park and Marine reserve, which was called by the Romans "Nymphes Bay". Rooms face south west, with a beautiful sea view and offering an outstanding view of the sunset. The Wellness centre offers pools with sea water, whirlpool, Turkish bath, tennis field, fitness room with Technogym Easy Line. Massage and body treatments available upon reservation. Sports and activities: with sailing boat and motorboat you have the chance of discovering the coast with its cliffs, caves, an exclusive beach with or without skipper. A diving centre, snorkelling, horse-riding and mountain-bike activities are only 3 minutes away driving by car.

Euro 960 per person (for subscription from 15 june)
in double-room accommodation

Very few single rooms offered. Euro 40,00 supplement per day applied.

Euro 400 to be paid as down payment

until all places are reserved. Approximately 100 places are available.
